We are inside Quincy Marketplace at Faneuil Hall. Come in for Harvard, MIT, Boston College, and BU tees, crews, hoodies, hats, and gifts. Then walk the food colonnade with a tray and eat like the season intends.
New England seafood. Clam chowder in a bread bowl from Boston Chowda or Boston & Maine Fish Company. Lobster rolls and shrimp from Wicked Lobsta. Oysters when you want to linger.

The Freedom Trail at our doorstep. Faneuil Hall is a stop on the Trail. Step from the shops to the Cradle of Liberty, then follow the red line toward the North End, Paul Revere’s House, and the Old State House — or keep going toward Cambridge after you pick up the Harvard or MIT shirt.
The New England Aquarium, steps away. About a 10-minute walk to Central Wharf. Penguins, the Giant Ocean Tank, and the harbor are an easy add-on after lunch.
Harbor cruises in full operation. Boston Harbor City Cruises run from nearby Long Wharf and Central Wharf through the fall — sightseeing, sunset, and whale watches with Aquarium naturalists. There is nothing like seeing Boston from the harbor.
